Photographer Bio
Tom Kirkendall's motto is "live long, play hard." Over the last twenty years, he's worked as a photographer and author with his wife, Vicki Spring, and he's taken on an amazing variety of challenging and adventurous assignments. Just a few of Tom's accomplishments include climbing to the summit of Mount Rainier (in a blizzard, no less) for Conde Nast and chasing Bigfoot through the freezing rain for Backpacker Magazine.
Tom is an accomplished sports and landscape photographer who works with a variety of cameras and styles. Although, like all master photographers, he sometimes requires reliability and familiarity from his equipment, he produces stunning results from inexpensive models like the Holga camera as well.
