2. What are your favorite poses and props for studio shots? Do you prefer more posed or more relaxed shots? Can you suggest some great poses? What is the best set up for memorable photographs?

3. What colors are best for children to wear for a studio shoot? Do you prefer stronger colors or more neutral tones? Is there anything specific we should stay away from?

Photographer Bio

Professional Children's Photographer Vik Orenstein -- in her own words -- doesn't do weddings, food, or buildings, just kids all the time. She has developed a reputation for photos that capture the whimsical and sometimes wistful nature of childhood.

Vik started her photography career shooting actors, models, and dabbling in architectural photography. In 1988, though, she realized that there weren't enough photographers doing justice to children in child portraiture, and she found her true calling in children's studio photography.
