Autumn photography can be one of the most rewarding types of photography to pursue, but it can also be one of the most challenging. The timing must be perfect, the location carefully chosen, the composition well considered, and the equipment and techniques must be precise.

How do you get that magic combination? That's what I was determined to find out during my interview with master photographer Jim Zuckerman. He revealed all this and more during his 7 Photography Questions interview.

Photographer Bio

Jim Zuckerman is an award-winning photographer who is for his fall landscape images. He has been to 73 countries searching for the most compelling subjects in the world to photograph. Jim teaches photography in many universities and private schools including UCLA and Kent State. He also leads photo tours for the past 31 years worldwide and teaches online classes through BetterPhoto.com.

Jim has authored 12 photography books and his work has been published in 45 countries around the world for advertising, editorial layouts, calendars, greeting cards, corporate publications, and more. He was a contributing editor to Photographic Magazine for 32 years, and now writes for Shutterbug Magazine. His articles and photographs have been published in hundreds of books and magazines, including several Time-Life Books, publications from National Geographic, Outdoor Photographer, Omni Magazine, and Conde Nast Traveler.
