Baby Photography Tips for Stunning Baby Pictures
Wouldn't you just love to know the insider secrets and baby photography tips of the pros? That's exactly what I asked Carrie Sandoval to share with us when I interviewed her. While she didn't have a wide assortment of tips to offer, she did share her top tip for creating stunning baby photography masterpieces.
Lighting is Everything
Carrie Sandoval: I would say the number one secret is finding the light. Just keep paying attention to how the shadows move when you rotate your subject. Watch the shadows move across your subject to get a feel for it. Then snap your shots accordingly.
Again, I always have the baby's head closest to the light source, for example, my window.
I would say that getting your lighting down pat is definitely the number one secret when it comes to great baby photography.
In Conclusion
Lighting can make all the difference in the world when it comes to baby photography. The wrong shadows in the wrong places create a completely unbalanced image, whereas the right lighting can turn a shot into a breathtaking work of art.
While Carrie may not have offered us an endless amount of baby photography tips and secrets, the one she did provide can make a significant difference in the quality of your baby photographs.
