A Samburu warrior: Telling a story with light and darkness
Scott Stulberg: I told you I love to shoot people. This one is a Samburu warrior. We were shooting in his village and I positioned him in a way that I really wanted to get him looking away and just being nonchalant about the whole thing.
The time of day was at sunset. You can see the long shadows in there. I really love the feeling of this shot. (click the image for a larger version)
Those two shots, the lions and this Samburu tribe guy -- his name was Joseph -- are my two favorite shots of the trip.
